A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form goes to the outside provider that supplies results; the directory’s servers do not retain a copy of searches. A message sent to us contains only its submitted material and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services maintain ordinary logs such as IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. Aggregate information helps operate the directory. Cookies or similar tools can support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to operate the directory, address problems, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell visitor lists or construct profiles of individual users.
Outside Links
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Service Providers
Providers that host or support the directory process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners can receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data only when valid legal process requires it.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Information Choices
Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data a private website holds. No general Pennsylvania consumer-privacy deletion statute applicable to this directory was verified in project research. Because we retain little, requests normally involve a search of the contact mailbox and server logs, followed by removal of material found. Use the Contact page to ask. Pennsylvania, Delaware County, and Upper Darby Township public records are outside our control; direct source-record requests to the custodian.
